The Status Quo of Xizhou Tribe

Though meeting with resistance of the Xizhou tribe for years, the "333 Self-Built Housing Project" successfully ended in mid-2021. After numerous negotiations, the tension between the government and the tribe gradually diminished, leading to the successful transformation and reconstruction of the tribal residence. All tribal members have relocated to brand new homes and plan to settle here.

As of now, it has been over two years since the relocation, and the tribal members have settled in, with the living environment gradually improving. Compared to the old village, which often faced floods and other disasters, the new tribe is safer, more stable, and offers easier access to daily necessities. Overall, the tribal members are quite satisfied with their current living conditions, willing to maintain and beautify their living surroundings. Many have decorated the environment with potted plants and flowers, adding color to the community. Some have even renovated unfinished ceramic tile walls with vibrant paint, bringing more vitality to the entire tribe.

Additionally, the establishment of the cultural health station within the tribe has spiced up the community in another way. Besides providing a place for gatherings, chats, and emotional exchanges, the station offers creative handicraft courses for leisure activities, providing a channel for relaxation and entertainment. The station greatly enriches the lives of tribal residents and strengthens the bond within the tribe, promoting the development and future of the Xizhou tribe.
